This year, from 5th to 13th September, The Venice Glass Week offers a series of special events for children and families: Kids’ Programme by Artsystem, created in collaboration with the Festival’s partner Artsystem, a Venetian company that specializes in organising educational events for adults and children.

From 5th to 13th September Artsystem’s educational staff will accompany children and young people on guided tours that will enable them to discover the events of #TheHeartOfGlass. Each day the itineraries will involve different venues, including opportunities to meet artists and designers, visit exhibition spaces, explore the world of glass and have fun in the streets and squares of Venice and Murano.

A Walk on the Glass Wire is a programme of five afternoons – from Monday 7th to Friday 11th September – offering children aged 6-9 or 10-13 the chance to discover different venues and aspects of the Festival.

The programme will also include activities for families, designed for parents and children: activities that will be both fun and educational, offering – especially for adults – the opportunity to learn about and rediscover the wonder of glass.

Get involved and take part in Findglass. In search of the heart!
