Moulding and Applying Hot Glass through the Centuries

With the seventh edition of the Study Days on Venetian Glass, the seminar is confirmed as an unmissable event for experts and enthusiasts from all over the world. Over the course of three days, museum curators, scholars, collectors, restorers and glass artists will discuss a particular and ancient technique of glass processing. Our aim is again to offer an opportunity for in-depth study and encounters, with an ample exchange of knowledge and experience of glass historians. The programme of the Study Days includes lessons by experts who, after a general overview, will guide participants through a study of the methods and pieces, encouraging participants to actively take part, also through presentations. Lessons and discussions will be held in English. Contributions in Italian will be translated into English by the seminar curators. The seminars will be completed by a tour of the Murano Glass Museum and by practical demonstrations in glassmaking studios.
