Presentation – The new website of Fondazione Chiara e Francesco Carraro

Ca’ Pesaro – Galleria Internazionale d’Arte Moderna, Fondazione Chiara e Francesco Carraro

Description

Ca' Pesaro, that since 2017 hosts in long-term deposit 82 works from the Chiara and Francesco Carraro collection, will be the location of the presentation of the new website dedicated to the homonymous foundation. A digital tool that will finally make accessible to everyone the story and the structure of one of the most remarkable Venetian collections of the last decades, built over thirty years. Among the works on view at Ca' Pesaro, currently exhibited in rooms 6 and 7 on the first floor, we count also a rich series of glass masterpieces from the Art Nouveau period onwards like those made by Vittorio Zecchin, Umberto Bellotto and Barovier, up to the most modern pieces made by Carlo Scarpa and the series created by Fulvio Bianconi and Archimede Seguso.

On September 7th at Ca’ Pesaro Frédéric Argazzi, designer of Bunker, in dialogue with the Vice President Enrico Carraro and with Giulio Alessandri, member of the Fondazione Chiara e Francesco Carraro, will talk about the long work of study, photographic shooting and graphic production carried forward to realize the innovative website of the foundation.

The speakers are:

Gabriella Belli, Director of Fondazione Musei Civici di Venezia

Elisabetta Barisoni, Responsible of Ca' Pesaro - Galleria Internazionale d'Arte Moderna

Enrico Carraro, President Gruppo Carraro

Giulio Alessandri, Fondazione Chiara e Francesco Carraro, Art Historian, Accademia di Belle Arti di Venezia
