Venice Factory presents at The Venice Glass Week the collection STRAMBOTTI / Figures in a Garden. The event takes for a walk in a suggested "Italian garden" with bizarre, fascinating and mysterious forms. STRAMBOTTI are characters, animals and flowers in different sizes, sometimes with a functional nature, sometimes mere charming objects. Made with the finest glass workmanship tradition: in opaque or transparent glass, "reticello", overlaid, with rods, enriched with "morise" and painted enamel. The collection is once again the result of the delightful encounter between the designer Eliana Gerotto and the glassmaster Gianni Seguso. Together they were able to bring out the character of these figures, like the pompous Monsieur Pigeon, in a round blown glass, and his dog Fifì, in slab of colored glass.
The inauguration of this exhibition will take place on Monday 9th September, at the same venue.
