The last two TVGW Tours by Nexa for Sunday, September 13th in Venice will disclose the soul of a city historically at the center of creativity, where, in the 1950s, a world-famous fashion designer brought together traditional artisan workshops and couture and, in doing so, launched a new vision of fashion.
The first tour leaves at 10 am and will take you to Bruno Amadi's workshop where the master, one of the greatest experts in lampworking, produces miniature animal and vegetable worlds. Then it will be the turn of the workshop of Marco Franzato, who, with his artistic Tiffany style stained-glass leaded windows, is the proponent of highly original combinations of glass and metal.
Departure Point: In front of the Church of San Tomà
At 5 p.m. Nexa's guide will take you to what was once Roberta di Camerino's atelier, where daughter Roberta and granddaughter Tessa will welcome you among bags, belts, scarves, trompe l'oeil dresses - and glass beads that an artist-artisan will conjure by lampworking as if by magic right before your eyes.
Departure Point: In front of the Church of SS. Giovanni e Paolo
